Over more than twenty years our track record includes creating one of the world’s largest integrated gas infrastructure projects, Dolphin Program. Built on the backbone of a technologically advanced pipeline from Qatar through the UAE -based in Abu Dhabi linking Qatar, Abu Dhabi and the Indian sub-continent- Dolphin scope of activity covers the whole “gas value chain” – upstream, midstream and downstream – in several different territories.
The overall investments in Dolphin program have made it the largest energy-related venture ever undertaken in the Middle East.
In the years 1998 to 2000, Dr Badr-El-Din conceived and launched Dolphin Program, later renamed “Dolphin Energy” www.dolphinenergy.com, a major strategic program designed to stimulate industrial and business investment in the UAE and beyond with an overall objective of creating long-term economic growth for the GCC.
From the development of gas fields to the creation of new industrial zones fueled by the power generated by the gas piped from those fields, the project aimed to build new energy markets while also meeting the growing demands for energy from current users in the UAE and the Gulf region.
Dolphin project resulted in a $20 billion contribution to local economies along the territories of the project.
